  6. Alice and anyone else who wants the recipe, here it is

    1/2 c chopped onion
    1 T margarine
    4 cups water
    4 t beef bullion
    1 to 2 t worchestershire sauce
    1 t soy sauce
    1 1/2 to 2 T horseradish
1 1/2 lbs roast beef *see note below

In large pan cook onion in margarine until tender. Stir in water, bullion, worchestershire, soy sauce and horseradish. Heat until bullion dissolves and is heated thru. Add beef and heat thru. Serve with french bread and broth.

*The recipe calls for 1 1/2 lbs thinly sliced roast beef, I usually use leftover roast beef when I cook a roast, but I'm sure you could use deli roast beef.
