  3. Bouldins, here's our favorite way, and then the runner ups. We like to season the salmon with lemon, a little salt and pepper, honey and then teriyaki sauce, wrap it in foil and grill it.

My parents like to grill or bake salmon with mango salsa from Costco

They also love it with Yoshida's terkiyaki sauce/marinade.

I also like it with lemon slices, butter and dill and then wrapped in foil and grilled.

Halibut is definitely way less fishy tasting if you want to ease your way into the fish world. Halibut tacos are pretty good, you can marinate halibut in cumin and lime and olive oil and chile powder and grill it and it takes on the flavor of whatever it's seasoned with.

  9. YUM!

Thanks Jenny. I love teriyaki sauce so that'll be my next plan. The fish tacos also sound good.

Vicki & Aaron, Mexican food is on the menu here every week so that marinade sounds perfect! I can't wait to try it.

    Thanks!

  10. I may be late...but as to the fish question...salmon's a pretty strong fish - I like it, but it is stronger. I do have a good rachael ray salmon recipe posted on here in the recipes-main dish section - YUM. but maybe try some more mild fish to start out - maybe ask the butcher for recommendations. also, fish tacos are sooo good. love them. :)
