Week 40 Menu

Happy Halloween!! It's not even Halloween yet and Cate has more Halloween candy than any 2-year-old has business possessing. She is VERY good at sharing however - it's super cute. We've been reading Harriet's Halloween Candyand Cate prides herself on the fact that, unlike Harriet, she knows how to share her candy. Lucky for me!

This week is surprisingly un-busy schedule-wise, so that means I have to plan a full menu for the week. I'm glad I had all your menus to peruse - it helped so much! Please keep your menus coming - let's see if we can set a record this week! Remember - it doesn't matter WHAT your eating, just tell us what it is. :)

MONDAY:
- Bistro Chicken
- Potatoes
- Veggie

TUESDAY:
- Chicken Masala (TJs) w/chickpeas
- Rice
- Veggie

WEDNESDAY:
- Margherita Pizza
- Salad
- Trick or Treating!

THURSDAY:
- Leftovers

FRIDAY:
- Quiche
- Baguette & cheese
- Fruit

SATURDAY:
- Eat out

SUNDAY:

Cate's trick or treat bag is so cute, Jane. You are so crafty. : ) My poor kid's going to have to go trick or treating with a grocery bag or something along those lines. Take lots of pictures of that little toot treat or treating. We miss her tons. Love always, Sara

Hi - I traveled for work last week so heaven knows what happened for dinner, other than my husband assures me my 2-year old Gracie DID in fact eat a vegetable. :-) He actually does pretty well holding down the fort and making sure he and she both get fed.

Tuesday
Chicken & dumplings (frozen cooked chicken from a different Sunday dinner means super fast!), green beans

Thursday
Taco night

Friday
Broiled fish ... I'm thinking Tilapia but need to see what is on sale
Rice pilaf, green salad

Saturday
Dinner at our good friends' - filet mignon with Bernaise sauce, asparagus, potatoes ... yum!

loving all your comments and menus - thank you! :)

I must comment very quickly on the trick or treat bag. sara - I wish I could take all the credit, but credit is due to pat the awesomest mother-in-law around. she made the bag, although I had to finish the applique, so I had a bit of a hand in the final product. just make sure you marry someone with an awesome mom and your kids will be just fine. :)
