The Song of the Week

Having iTunes in the kitchen means having great music while I cook...making the process not quite so tedious! Here are some songs that have kept me company many a cooking night. They're awesome. That's why they're on the list. Be sure to check them out!

Click on the Week #/Date to find out why I like the song so much. Click on the name of the song/artist/album to link to the MP3 on Amazon, where you can preview the song and purchase the DRM-free MP3. (DRM-free means once you buy the song, you can put it on as many computers as you want...unlike those pesky iTunes MP3s.) Sometimes an MP3 download is not available, in which case I'll link you to the CD.

Week 1: Wasn't cool yet at week 1... no song of the week.

Week 2: "The Wind" by Cat Stevens, also found on the fun and funky Rushmore soundtrack

Week 3: "Picture Of Jesus" by Ben Harper, Diamonds On The Inside

Week 4: Let Go by Frou Frou, also found on the TOTALLY AWESOME Garden State soundtrack

Week 5: King Without A Crown by Matisyahu, the live album is pretty awesome too
