The Goods: Freeze-Dried Strawberries

I spotted these freeze-dried strawberries at Trader Joe's this week and thought Cate would like them in her cereal...which she does! They don't have any added sugar, which is GREAT, and Cate loves them. Makes healthy cereal much more appealing to a 2-year-old. :)

If you don't have a Trader Joe's nearby, any dried fruit would certainly do! Just thought this was a fun new TJs product to feature.

My Book Club post this week was kinda long, so in case you developed reading fatigue halfway through, make sure you go back and READ IT and check out the recipe links I put in there. Seriously, they are goooood recipes. Happy Friday!

I've tried to find those, my #2 son loves the strawberries in the cheerios and would pick them out and eat just the strawberries. Too bad there's no Trader Joe's in Utah, we need to start a petition to get one here. Seems like my kind of store.

justtomatoes.com has a fabulous selection of dried fruits and veggies with no sugar (or anything!)added. There's even some organic options if that's the way you roll.

I saw these at TJ's Tuesday and thought of your blog! I totally want to second Just Tomatoes! I love their Just Veggies mix (carrots, peppers, corn, and peas), and they have great fruit too!

I love that they don't add anything as mentioned, but everything is awesome just for snacking! By far the best freeze dried/dehydrated snacks I've had.

I get mine from Whole Foods and have ordered online when I couldn't get to Whole Foods (as I have to travel 1 or 1.5 hours for my precious Trader Joe's and Whole Foods). They have been my healthy summer snack and I just loaded up again for Fall!
