Week 32 Menu

It is TOO HOT to cook. It's actually been quite warm in San Diego this weekend, and I know I absolutely should NOT be complaining, but I'm so glad we don't deal with this all summer! I'm so spoiled here...what will I do if we move away in a few months?!?! I no long have a spine when it comes to weather...


This morning I made some french toast on the stove real quick - but I added milk, cinnamon, a little sugar and vanilla to the egg and used Brioche bread. It was GOOD, better than just boring old egg and bread. Cate's just discovering french toast and is thoroughly enjoying it, asking for it every morning! This is a pic of the pretty bread we used this morning.

MONDAY:
This was supposed to be Sunday's meal from last week, but we had tons of leftovers to eat on Sun night - LOVE those nights
- Pork Chops
- Rice
- Veggie

TUESDAY:
- Easy Apricot Chicken
- Rice
- Salad

WEDNESDAY:
- Caprese Salad Pasta
- Crusty bread and cheese


THURSDAY:
- Leftovers

FRIDAY:
- Eat out

SATURDAY:
- Breakfast for dinner...probably waffles
- Maybe some kind of egg?
- Fresh fruit

SUNDAY:
- Hamburgers on the grill
- Picnic-type side dishes

Monday: Hawaiian Haystacks

Tuesday: Garden veggie soup w/cornbread

Wednesday: Grilled cheese sandwiches, sliced veggies, fruit smoothies

Thursday: Spaghetti w/ fresh tomato sauce & garlic steamed green beans

Friday: marinated chicken cooked on the grill, corn on the cob, layered green salad

Saturday: leftovers or breakfast foods

Sunday: Beef Stroganoff in crock pot, salad, peach cobbler

Wednesday:
-Almond-apricot chicken

Thursday:
-Ziti with marinara sauce

-Garlic bread

Friday:
-Eat out

Saturday (Will be in Hilton Head on vacation):
-Whatever I want!

Sunday:
-Vacation...who knows?

Monday: Grilled Marinated London Broil- Marinated in two packets of Zesty Good Seasons Italian dressing made with balsamic vinegar.

Tuesday: No Mushroom Chicken Marsala
Egg Noodles
Green Beans

Wednesday: Eat Out

Thursday: At Mom/Grandma's House

Friday: Away for the Weekend...the hubby and the kids fend for themselves!
Hot Dogs and Hamburgers
Mac N Cheese

Saturday: Still Away, I'm betting on the hubby making hot dogs and hamburgers again!

Sunday: At Grandma's Again!

Next week will have more cooking!

Sunday: Asian Sesame Chicken with honey butter sauce, Sticky Rice, carrots, green beans and cauliflower.

Monday: Turkey Medallions and vegetable melange w/brown rice.

Wednesday: Steak Salsa Verde and garlic mashed potatoes w/ veggies (and birthday cake too! Ben's B-Day...)

Thursday: Leftovers

Friday: Birthday Date Night-Phil's BBQ for Ben's 32nd.

Have you ever tried the martha stewart stuffed french toasts on the website? We love them at our house. Banana nut and then strawberry cream cheese are our favs. We've used Great Harvest cinnamon chip bread for french toast as well and that was amazing. And the food network has this recipe that calls for flour and it's really good as well. I heart french toast.
