Short menu this week since it's all about Thanksgiving. :)

MONDAY:
- Leftover beef stew and chicken piccata from last week

TUESDAY:
- Spaghetti
- Salad
- Garlic bread

WEDNESDAY:
- Eat out

THURSDAY:
- THANKSGIVING!

FRIDAY:
- Leftovers

SATURDAY:
- Leftovers

SUNDAY:
- Dinner at a friend's home

Maybe Pizza or maybe I'll get inspired and cook...doubtful! :)

THANKSGIVING at Grandma's!
I am attempting a Heaven and Hell cake as well as some cookies and apps.
Feta, steak and bruschetta apps

-Thanksgiving with my gigantic family (22 adults and 7 kids, yikes!) I'm taking cheesecake cookies, pumpkin bread, and cherry pie

-Thanksgiving with Mother-In-Law (welcome to my holiday season)

This week is clearly nothing to write about, but I haven't missed a week yet, so dang if I was about to start!

Cavatappi is a pasta shape, kind of like spiral perm curls. I think they were Ronzoni or Barilla. They're good with a heavier sauce. I like to use them when I make a meat sauce and then mix in some ricotta cheese...YUM!

Heaven and Hell cake is Angel food and Devil's food cake layered with peanut butter mousse in between and chocolate ganache over the whole thing. Never made it but I'm going to try it since it sounds so amazing!! I'll let you know how it goes...maybe even take a few pics along the process!!
