Week 58 Menu

Yesterday I stopped in at Village Mill Bread Company in Del Mar. Their Cinnamon Swirl bread is awesome, by the way. Yesterday I grabbed a beautiful loaf of challah, allowing us to have a great french toast breakfast this morning!

Menu planning the next two weeks is not going to be so fun...Nate's final defense is in 2 weeks, so he's busy, busy, busy. Poor guy - it sure will be nice for him when it's all done! Can't believe 6 1/2 years of a PhD are almost done. Amazing. Anyway, when he's not around, it's very hard to motivate myself to cook. But I'm going to do my darndest.

MONDAY:
- Bistro Chicken
- Potatoes
- Salad

TUESDAY:
- Chicken a la King
- Rice
- Salad

WEDNESDAY:
- Leftovers

THURSDAY:
- Omelettes
- Fruit

FRIDAY:
- Homemade pizza
- Salad

SATURDAY:

Monday: Pork and Potato Casserole

Tuesday: Hosting a Latin themed dinner for my friend's birthday. I'm making meatballs and a tex-mex appetizer that involves cream cheese and corn.

Wednesday: Chicken tenders and noodles

Hi Jane,

I just read your Project Runway entry ... I am also addicted and can't wait to see the ending this week! I'm not so sure on the choice of Rami vs. Chris, but I'm a Jillian fan personally so can't wait to see who wins. (So Fierce as Christian would say)

This week I am traveling so some of this is 'hopeful'

Sunday - did homemade Macaroni & Cheese (for leftovers) and salad

Monday - flank steak in an herb marinade, rice, steamed broccoli

Tuesday - will do chicken breasts coated in a parmesan / breadcrumb coating, mashed potatoes, salad

Weds - (I am away-hoping for Mac & Cheese leftovers to be served)

Thurs - (I am away, my suggestion is leftover Flank Steak)

Friday - I return, late. Will see what leftovers are left over.

Saturday - plans to go out with friends, hooray!
