Dried Fruit Stand

Yesterday we visited Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche. When we came out of the church we couldn’t help but notice this colorful dried fruit stand. The girl who worked there didn’t speak a lick of English, but she knew the names of the fruits and let us try all different fruits.

We bought an expensive little bag of dried apples, but they were worth every euro. I can’t explain it, they were just so good. Nothing like an apple chip, not that apple chips are bad, but I may not be able to go back.

We head to Paris tomorrow! I have more German food to share with you, but probably won’t be able to get back online until we’re in France. But keep checking in!

(For some reason Blogger sort of shrunk my photo there, so click on it to really see the fruit - they're very cool looking!)

Yum! Yum! Yum! I am going to have to send my German friend your blog. She is going to get homesick just looking at your photos.
